The standard procedure for the detection of trace compounds currently relies on complex, rather slow chemical-physical methods based in chromatography, mass spectrometry or a combination of both, being liable only for laboratory use.
With SEADM’s revolutionary Ion Mobility solutions, based in the application of solely, highly engineered physical fields, now it is possible to detect trace compounds on site (not necessarily in a laboratory), with no process interference and, in real time.
In fact with measurement time ranges from 0.1 s to a few minutes depending on the availability of the sample around the detector. Furthermore, years of development of its two fundamental technologies (Differential Mobility Analysis and Low Flow Secondary Electrospray Ionization) have allowed SEADM to reach unprecedented levels of resolution and limits of detection (for instance 0.01 parts per quadrillion for RDX explosive).
