Juan Fernandez de la Mora
Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Yale University (USA). He is a reputed expert in the field of electrostatic atomization of liquids from Taylor cones, and in experimental techniques for high resolution size classification of nanometer particles and ions.
He has been the inventor of 12 patents in the field of mobility analysis, and has received in 2006 the David Sinclair Award for sustained excellence in aerosol research and technology. Prof. de la Mora plays a pivotal role in the company as scientific and technical consultant.
He has been postdoctoral fellow at Yale University and the Italian National Research Council. In 2011 he was appointed senior scientist/lecturer at ETH Zurich. His research interests include the mass spectrometric analysis of trace gases for various interdisciplinary applications.
Gonzalo Fernandez de la Mora
He completed a Physics B.S. at the Madrid Complutense University (Spain) in 1973, and a M.S. degree on Electrical Engineering at the Ohio State University (Ohio, USA) in 1974.
His professional career began in the computer software field, and in 1980 he became Computer Head at the Prospective Directorate (Spanish Ministry of Presidency).
In 1982 he entered the private sector within the aerospace division of SENER (a major Spanish engineering company), where he worked for twenty years, successively as Systems engineer, Software Head, Program Manager and Proposals Manager. In 2005 he cofounded SEADM.
